Separated by a vast desert and a formidable mountain range, two civilisations have emerged. In the north, a focus on magical study has resulted in a rich and powerful city, which attracts all manner of folk, but it is the mages that give the city its legendary name.

In the south, the city of Mekenas stands at the centre of a great trade empire spanning multiple worlds. Magic is prevalent, but experts in all crafts reside here. Their army is second to none, ensuring peace reigns throughout the neighbouring worlds.

As the two kingdoms grow in influence, the tension between them only increases. Many say that the southern kingdom’s conquering days are long past, but the temptation of the magic to the north might be too much to resist. Others say the northerners intend to use their magic to extend their control over all the portals of Parsa, so the southerners must act to defend themselves. Either way, such tension can’t last.
